The last week was dedicated to the completion of our group presentation. After we had already fixed the content of the presentation in the team the week before, it was now a matter of further elaborating individual contents and constantly improving the presentation. For this, we met regularly and discussed different topics. In addition to these individual elaborations and group meetings, my further task was to create a PowerPoint presentation.

I think that this task is very important for presentations
because it can have an underlining effect. Besides, a good presentation shows
that you have taken the time to consciously prepare and that the task is
important to you. Especially if you don't just want to present your idea but
also "sell" it, presentation and visualization are very important in
addition to the professional appearance.
After I have started to visualize my contents in the
presentation, I gradually developed more and more contexts in my head, which
then brought me forward in my way of presenting accordingly. I am therefore of
the opinion that the creation of PowerPoints on the one hand significantly
improves the presentation in terms of visualization and clarification of the
core statements. On the other hand, the creation of the PP presentation helps
to sort my thought processes and thus in the next step to improve the structure
of the presentation and the presentation style significantly.
I also created all the remaining slides so that
everything is in the same design so that the group presentation is coherent and
the presentation follows a structured clear line. I think although this has
meant a lot of extra work for me, it helps us as a group to make a more solid
and professional impression.
So that all parts are agreed upon, I was in continuous
contact with the individual group members regarding their slides and talked to
them about their ideas and suggestions for improvement. As soon as we were
finished with the presentation slides we met and rehearsed everything multiple
times. I think it is normal that different roles develop in a group during the
work process and it is also very important that each group member can
contribute his or her strengths. I don't like to be forced to take a leadership
position, but since I've been able to gather a lot of experience in my previous
study career, I'm happy to take it on in our team. I think that we worked very
well as a group and everyone was very committed and my messages were answered
very quickly every time. I think this is not obvious and I have experienced it
differently with other groups in my past. Therefore the work in my team was a
lot of fun for me, I have the feeling to have acquired a lot of new knowledge
and I am happy to present our recommendations for action for Odyssey Arts the
day after tomorrow.
